Fishing

We had the opportunity to take the kids fishing tonight and they loved it. Luckily no one got a hook stuck in them. They managed to touch a fish and Seth even put his thumb in its mouth! All in all it was a good time....

Days Off!

I'm enjoying my Friday off today! The boys and I headed downtown to Freedom Park to explore and take part in the NFL Play60 they have down there. Seth was disappointed the Panthers players weren't down there but he still had a blast.

We did lots of climbing...

and had a blast!

After a couple of hours, we ate lunch and headed home. They had a blast at the park!

Out with the old, In with the new

A jeep has been my main vehicle for the past 15 years. When I was 16 years old, my parents got me a jeep to commute back and forth with to school and work and later I traded it in for my very first real purchase of the jeep below. I've had this car since May of 2005. 

It was a sad day. I traded it in for this...

It was time for an upgrade and one of us needed a new car. I was really wanting a car with a third row seat and we scored one. We are excited about the car and the kids love it. But please don't tell them it's not a mini-van. They wanted a mini-van but I could not do that to myself. So now we can carry around some of their friends and more of our belongs on vacation! (Now why did we not trade this in before vacation?!?)

Cows and Splashin'

We've had a great weekend so far! We dressed like cows from Friday morning and scored FREE breakfast before heading into work. Jeremy thought it was silly but later thought it was cool cause the kids ate free! The kids were good sports about dressing up.

I even got my co-workers in on it! We went to lunch across the street and had some fun. It made for a fun and FREE lunch day!

Saturday morning we hit up the splash pad for a birthday party. The kids love this little park and so do we!

They had a great time in the water and got to hang out with their buddies!

Now for more weekend fun!

4th of July Weekend

We have had a blast the past 2 days!!! We celebrated in style with the 4 of July!!! We went to my grandmother's house during the day and ate lunch and hung out at her house...

we got back home around dinner time and headed to the country to do some fireworks!

the boys had a blast and watched a late night movie! they stayed up til 10:30!!! OMG but they slept in til 8:30!

We packed our bags on Saturday morning and headed to the Henry's for hang out in their pool! We love their neighborhood pool so much! The boys favorite part is there slide....

They can play on it for hours. 

and hours!

They were well-behaved and did well without taking naps! we've had a great weekend and now back to reality.
