Christmas 2009

Christmas was wonderful this year! It went by way to fast for our family. We're enjoying all our new toys, clothes and gadgets we got from everyone. It was great to see Noah interact with so many people this year and able to open up his gifts. He is feeling 100% better and was so excited to get into the Christmas spirit. He opened some gifts on Christmas Eve with Jeremy's side of the family and then Santa came to visit on Christmas day!

Check out Noah's new wheel's!!! He loves his new car!

He shoots and he scores!

Now where's Santa? I need to talk with this man again!

Baby Mozart!

Noah and his buddy/ cousin Jay. They had a blast playing on Jay's new slide. I think Noah will be over at Jay's house a lot this summer to play on the side.

Feeling MUCH Better

UPDATE: Noah is feeling much better! He's been a little fussy but it's to be expected with everything he has gone through this past week. We went for our follow-up Doctor's appointment today and they were impressed on how well his lungs sounded. We do not have to do the breathing treatments anymore which excites Noah and me!

Look at Noah he's in the DVD cabinet!

Noah crawling into the cabinet.

Taking apart the tree.

Trying to open someones Christmas present but I got to him before he opened it all the way.

Hey mom... Look at the new muscles I've got from all the steroids!!!

Never a dull moment!

There is never a dull moment with Noah! This past weekend he was diagnosed with a double ear infection, sinus infection and we found out he had 4 molars coming through. But Monday morning he gave me a scare! He woke up breathing super fast, using tons of stomach muscles to breath, and not wanting to do anything but sleep because his breathing was making him exhausted. I rushed him to the Doctors office and from there they once again admitted him to the Hospital.

Noah was a trooper! Noah had to get a special straw called an IV to get antibiotics through his arm. He adjusted well to the new found pillow on his hand.

He did lots of this during the night time. He rested very well which is always the best medicine.

more resting!

Look at Noah drinking his bottle with one hand. He reverted back to the bottle while he was there but he was at least drinking!

Miss Elyse and Noah... this was Noah's favorite person. She brought Noah all the toys and games he wanted. She's moving to CA and we're going to miss her so much! We're resting great now and have a follow up appt later this week! We pray for no more trips to the Hospital!!!

Birthday's

Just for kicks... Noah's got muscles like the Michelin man!

Jeremy's best bud turn 30 yesterday. His girlfriend threw him a wonderful surprise birthday party and he was clueless! Noah would not stop making funny faces or sit still to get a good picture with Dr. Kit. Boys will be boys!

These 3 guys are the best of friends... Kit, Kenny and Jeremy. They have been friends for about 10 yrs now and still going strong.

Sunday School Class Fun!!!

Yesterday, our Sunday School Class headed to Operation Christmas Child to serve and help sort through boxes. We had a blast!!! We had almost the entire class come out (minus the children). We had a great time getting to know one another better, laughing and telling jokes. Operation Christmas Child collects shoes boxes for children ages 2-10 with toys, clothes, books, etc and ships them all around the world!

The men doing the hard work... picking up the boxes to load!

Laura patiently waiting for Morgan to hand her the next box.

The room where all the boxes get sent out from.

My buddy Laura for the day! She was a guest today and so awesome! Turns out she is a Neuro ICU RN at CMC!

Such a great looking group!
Afterwards, we gathered our kids and met @ Fuddruckers for dinner. We exchanged White Elephant gifts and let all the children run around with balloons and balls. It's a great place to go with children cause in the end we don't have to clean up the mess!!! The best part of it all!!!

Quick pose... Jeremy, Noah and Jay

And the Grandma panties! Aren't these HUGE!?!?!

Noah Meets Santa...

We decided tonight to take Noah to meet Santa Claus so he could tell him everything he wanted for Christmas. Noah was such a good boy this past year he deserves the world. We were able to walk right up with no wait.

Noah walked up to Santa with no problem. He even slipped him a smile or two. But here's what happened next....

He screamed so loud the second we sat him on Santa's lap. He was not sure about the big guy with a grey beard. Jeremy and I have never heard Noah scream like this before. He cried and cried.

He was fine after we were far away from Santa. He even gave us a big smile next to the Christmas tree!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go! Oh how exciting the Christmas season is! I could not wait to put the decorations up this year. I started before Thanksgiving with the inside stuff knowing no one would be visiting and then after Thanksgiving out come the outdoor decorations! Noah has enjoyed looking at all the red and green decor. His favorite part of course is the tree. Who wouldn't love the tree!?!?

And this is my favorite part... The Birth of Jesus! Jeremy gave me this wonderful Nativity Scene for my birthday a couple years back and I cherish. We were discussing at work today all the different Nativity Scenes they have out and how even though so different yet all have the same meaning!

The fabulous tree! Noah's favorite of all!

I decided to get creative. I saw on a website how to make ornament wreaths and I wanted to give it a try. I gathered all the needed supplies and after two different wires and some of the ornaments coming off, I managed to make this wonderful wreath! So do you like it?!?!
