Week in Review

We've had a great week around here. Noah started off the week a bit under the weather but you would have never guessed it by the way he laughed and played all Monday. By Tuesday he was back to daycare and having fun. All day Wednesday the little rascal wanted to get inside the garbage can!

This is Noah's lovely mess! You turn your head for a second to check the mail and this is what happens!

Jeremy left to go out of town from Tuesday til Thursday to receive a special award: The Regional Hospital of the Year! We were so proud of him. Sadly, Noah and I had to stay behind.

And last this little one turns ONE on Friday!!! We were putting up groceries today and he climbed into the frig and it was a picture perfect moment. He was smiling so big so we ran to grab the camera for a quick photo-op. Soon he'll be helping me put the groceries away!

Busted!

Let's just say this little young man is into EVERYTHING! And I do mean everything! Every time I turn around he has his hand on a picture frame, his fingers in the toilet or his tongue licking the coffee table. He so busy and just wants to get into anything he's not supposed to be doing!

Here's the toilet and oh yes he was playing in it when I walked into the bathroom. Thank goodness I just got finished cleaning it!

New Tricks & Feeling Crabby

Noah's got a new trick up his sleeve... he can now clap his hands! It's the coolest thing. For days we watched him clap objects together and just this afternoon I was clapping my hands in front of him and he did it right back to me. Amazing!

Sadly, he's a little under the weather today. We noticed yesterday a rash on his bottom thinking it was a diaper rash. We put some ointment on it to only made the rash angry! By bedtime last night, a few more spots appeared on his upper chest and one on the back of his neck. So like a good mother, I called out of work and took my almost 1 yr old into the Drs. office to find out we have Hand, Foot and Mouth. A virus! My poor baby. By the time we made it home there was a mouth sore on his tongue and a new one on his hand. Through it all he's ate well, slept great, and not too fussy. So be gone virus very soon!

Aw Shucks!

We love Saturdays at our house! And today our Sunday School Class ventured out to Aw Shucks Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze. Not many were able to come because of the rain and mud but what they don't know is it was a beautiful day and we had a blast!

2 steps forward...

We're making progress on the walking thing. Noah is doing great at it! This morning he had hold of the garbage can and then let go and walked about 10 steps before he fell. He gets to laughing so hard that he can not keep his balance and he falls. It's the cutest!

Noah's new found toy is the garbage can. I'm a little concerned that he likes to play with it so much but it can keep him entertained for a while. He'll put garbage in and pull garbage out and has so much fun doing it until I take the can away from him. Forget the toys friends, all this little one needs for his birthday is a garbage can!

And we're Walking!

Noah is on the move, literally. He's taken about 4 steps for us at a time. It's so interesting to watch him walk because he knows it's something he's not used to doing and that it's something out of the ordinary!

Weekend Fun

Hey it's Noah and I'm taking over! I wanted to tell you all about my fun weekend. Daddy picked me up from daycare oo Friday and I came home and took a mini-nap and then up for some playtime. I ate dinner and patiently waited for mommy to get home from work. Before I went to bed mommy and daddy had so much fun tickling me. I laughed the entire!

I slept super good on Friday night but I got up early cause I wanted to play some more. I played all morning long. Mommy made me go down for a night and I fought her hard over it but I slept a little so she could get somethings done around the house. We played some more and climbed up and down the stairs and walked around outside. We thought it was going to rain but it didn't. I took another mini nap cause I needed tons of energy for my next adventure....

Sage and Lyla had there birthday party at this fun place. I got to ride down slides but mommy and daddy had to ride with me cause I am still small. I had fun!

The best part was the Icee daddy let me drink and it was good!

We came home and celebrated Uncle Trent's birthday with everyone. It was a good one but they made me go to bed before everyone got there. They said I needed a good slept for church in the morning and I sure did cause I did not want to take a nap during church. There's just too much going on and too much learning to be had!

Fabulous 11 months!

Oh my word, Noah's 11 months old today!!!! I can't believe it.

Noah's a HOT mess... let's see what he's into these days...

~ Enjoys crawling all over the house

~ Loves the sound of his voice so much he screams about anywhere!

~ Loves some homemade spaghetti

~Is into everything, I mean everything!

~ Has had his 5th haircut

~ Is able to balance himself on his feet but yet to walk

~ Picks all sorts of food up with his fingers

~ Can throw the best 11 mo tantrum when he is mad

~ Still loves his baths and walks around the neighborhood

~ Loves to play catch up the stairs

~ Enjoys it when you bring his stuffed animals to "life"

~ Has broken 1 picture frame

~ Thinks the toilet is the coolest thing (likes to stick his fingers inside it)

1 month until Noah's birthday!!! Let the party planning begin!!!

Movin' on Up!

Oh my gosh he's going to be 11 months old tomorrow and we can't believe it! Times flies so fast. We had a good day. We ate lunch with Dyanna and Chandler Jenkins and Noah thought Chandler was the coolest. They both just looked at each other and then when we left Noah wanted to touch Chandler.

We love it when dad gets home at night! First cause I can get dinner started and then second cause tickle time is coming!!! Noah loves it when we tickle his belly or you rub your hair on his stomach. He gets the biggest grin and laugh going!

Tomorrow's the big day when we advance the little one to whole milk. The doctor gave us permission for us to add a little milk to his formula to get him ready for the real deal. We gradually increase the amount each week til his birthday and then hopefully he'll be drinking milk with his birthday cake! We'll see how this goes but I already know milk is so much cheaper then formula!!!

Extra Special People

Grandparents are special but Great-Grandparents are EXTRA special. Noah's great-grandmother is no different. We had the opportunity to visit my Nana and Noah's great Nana yesterday. We had so much fun! We started out the morning at IHOP for breakfast then made our way to Kohl's. Nana needed some help from Noah on what he wanted for his birthday and he did a great job picking out some cool toys. We ventured over to Wal-mart and picked up a few more items then back to Nana's house for some ice cream treat! We love treats! Noah crawled all over the floor and had a blast. I think Nana and him are best buds!
