Potty Training

Today, I ran to Target to get a few last minute items we needed for November when little Seth arrives. Well even though I know Noah is no where near ready for potty training, i still decided to purchase a potty training toilet for when I go on leave that I might be able to work with him. This is what I came home with....

Little did I know Noah would be scared of this new found "toy." He screamed and cried when I pulled it out of the box. I sat it in the playroom to let him get used to it and finally by the end of the night he was playing with his new toilet. I also showed Jeremy my new purchase... I was not prepared for the numerous questions that came with the toilet. Jeremy asked where the plastic bags are to collect the poop (something similar to a diaper genie), thinks the best way to clean the toilet is by putting it into the dishwasher after each use, and insists that it will not be cleaned after each use. I laughed so hard!!!! This toilet training could be interesting....

The Mint Hill Parade

Saturday was filled with FUN for our family! We ventured out to the Mint Hill Parade with a few family and friends. The kids (old and young) had fun eating candy, watching the parade and just hanging out. Check out the fun we had...

Noah and Jeremy with the Firetrucks!

Noah spotted the green school bus from far away and talked about it for a while.

Yep he's afraid of the Bobcat mascot.

All the children behaving so well... Chandler, Jay, Olivia, and Noah.

Firetruck!!!!

Noah so excited to see the Firetrucks coming down the road!
We'll be heading back next year for more fun!

Pre-Dinner Meal

As we were preparing for dinner tonight, we sat Noah on the counter so he would not interfere with us cooking. It's not the norm for us to sit him there but we were frying okra and did not want it to splatter on him. Jeremy and I both turned around and found Noah had unwrapped a candy bar and was eating it!

Needless to say he only got in a few small bites before we took it away. Somehow he still managed to eat a whole plate of food!
P.S. He's just like his mother... he likes okra!!!!

Nursery Update

Noah's room is back to the new baby's room. It's the same look and design from when Noah was a baby. We re-organized everything, cleaned all the burp-cloths, bibs and blankets, and all the clothes are neatly hung in the closet. We have so many clothes for Seth that he can go a full 3 months without ever wearing the same outfit! Now the only thing left to do is to clean the bottles and we're set! But Seth needs to hang in there just a little long cause I'm only 30 weeks....

Handwashing!

As many of you know I'm a nurse and handwashing is VERY important in our business. At Noah's daycare they believe the same thing and each morning Noah is to wash his hands right when he gets to school... check out his routines...

Normally he does this without looking at me but he loves the camera!!! He's really good at washing his hands and getting the soap all lathered. I think at home we're going to have to buy him a step stool so he can wash his hands at home more often!!!

Firetrucks!

Today, Noah got to see the Firetrucks! I thought he would play all over them but instead he enjoyed watching them from a distance. I have the opportunity at work to meet all kinds of people in all different professions and thanks to one family member they allowed us to check out these firetrucks. They gave Noah a cool hat and coloring books that he's going to enjoy using! He still talks about the "Firetrucks"!

the BIG boy room

the BIG boy room is complete!!!
Noah's new room is complete with TONS of airplanes! It's a good thing he is into airplanes right now! The bed is low to the ground so he can get in and out easy. There are no signs that a baby would live in this room. I want to get a few more items to go into the room to complete it but other then that it's perfect!
