New Do's

Jeremy took Noah and Seth on Friday for a much needed hair cut. Noah has been to the Barber Shop many times with Jeremy and really likes getting his hair cut by Bruce. He knows where the suckers are and how to hop right into the chair. He was not afraid to show Seth the new ropes.

Seth on the other hand had a different agenda. He hated every minute of the hair cut and from what Jeremy told me cried the entire time. He got the sides trimmed which really needed it and the top looks a ton better. Next time, I think momma might have to go so Seth can sit in my lap.

Now everyone is looking so good!!!

(almost) Wordless Wednesday!!!

Pajama Day @ School!!!! (I'm starting to really like pajama day... makes getting them dressed super easy!)

Noah's teeth look SOOOOO much better!

And my sweet Seth scored at a 36 month old for this growth/ motor skills at school. Yes that is correct, he scored at a 3 yr old level for growth/ motor skills. I wonder why... because he has an older brother!!! Everything else he scored at an 18 mo old (cognitive, social/ emotion) and at a 24 mo old for self-help skills! Go Seth!!!

Rainy Sundays!

Jeremy has arrived back home!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one died on my watch or got "seriously" injured.

They did attempt to "kill" each other at times...

But they were also so very sweet and innocent when they wanted to be...

Now to begin the work week again! Blah!

Hurry home husband!

Needless to say, Jeremy might want to hurry home from his get-a-way! This Saturday has been eventful! Noah woke up at 6:15 and thank goodness Seth slept in. I layed in bed while he watched cartoons. Once Seth woke up we got breakfast and then played a fun hide and seek game. I wanted to take a shower but knew the best way to do it was to put Seth in there with me. Noah would be fine playing around the house. Seth had an accident in the shower which led me to cleaning the entire shower! It was a hot mess!!! We headed to the grocery store once again for the third time this week for deli meat cause I forgot Noah had to take his lunch to school and they said no peanut butter. They were so well-behaved in there. I let Noah wear his Spiderman outfit in there and everyone thought he was cute. Seth napped and I let Noah not nap but lay and read and color. We headed off to a baby shower and everything was going well until Noah fell on the hard woods of their house and busted his lip and front two teeth! They were bleeding like crazy. I remained calm and we headed out to figure out about his teeth. They are slightly loose but the dentist said to keep our eye on them and make sure they tighten back up! He has yet to complain about his mouth hurting but he is drugged up motrin per the dentist! I just hope his teeth tighten up and we don't have to get them removed. So needless to say I am ready for the hubs to come home before the kids kill me or themselves!

Unexpected days off...

I had an unexpected day off today. Jeremy called Monday on the way home from work saying Seth got sick several times in the car ride home. Poor Seth! It was a mess! Jeremy said he was in the middle lane driving home and had a hard time pulling over to clean it off of him. Noah kept telling him "He's doing it again daddy!" Once cleaned up and smelling much better he was somewhat playful and active.

We decided to go ahead and take him to the doctor and so glad we made the call. He broke out in a horrible rash all over his lower body and in his diaper area. He kept scratching it that in spots it started to bleed! We also thought he might have the dreadful ear infection! Poor guy he's been through a lot in one day and he's still so happy and playful! We hope he feels a better tomorrow to venture back to school!!! I have enjoyed my day off with the boys even if they were a little under the weather!!!

"Flat Stanley!"

Noah had a fun homework assignment to complete, due this Friday. He had a "paper man" called Flat Stanley that he was to take a picture with of his favorite place in town. Every time I asked him his favorite place, it changed so we changed the theme to places in town he likes for us!

We like to sit at the bottom of the stairs each morning and get our picture taken...

We love to eat pizza!!!...

We like to help mommy cook in the kitchen! (He helped to open eggs and other ingredients and now he is begging to open more eggs!!!)

And we like the "mini" Forest in our neighborhood with all the cool trees!

We really enjoyed this little project and taking pictures! We can't wait to see all the fun places our friends like to go!!!

Saturday Morning Fun!!!

We got the exciting text from a friend asking if the boys wanted to go to the park to play! Umm... YES!!! Parenting 101: if there is sun, and you have little ones, it makes for the best nap times afterwards!!!

Seth enjoyed exploring all over the playground.

Our friends Owen and Olivia had some cool dump trucks so everyone took their turns filling it with sand!

Mrs. Emily had all the kiddos some PJ sandwiches. Owen and Seth are having an eating contest to see who can stuff their face the fastest!!!

Silly kids!!!

And the morning was a success cause they slept for 3 hrs!!!!

Hoppy Easter!

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house first this year!!!

When the kids woke up Friday morning, he had already arrived and set out some cool new toys! (Thank you Target for such a wonderful Dollar Spot this past year!)

Noah was beyond excited to open up some presents.

He loved his new Spiderman plate. He even wanted to eat Breakfast on it!

Seth liked his little soccer ball. He's been kicking balls around the yard and I thought this would be a perfect size for him!

They each got some new clothes and a pair of sandals.

Noah's special toy was a Batman race car and Seth's special toy was a coloring pad for his age. We got them a together gift of a bowling set. They needed some more outdoor toys and we thought this was perfect for them!

Seth checking out Noah's new toy.

Now we don't visit the Easter Bunny and our kids don't really know about the Bunny. We take this time to celebrate our Risen Savior. Noah was precious on our walk today reminding me of all God's Creation. He would say "look mom there's a bird, God made it!" And he continued asking questions about what else God made. So he knows the Easter Bunny is pretend and that Mommy and Daddy got them the presents!

Who wants Donuts?!?!

So far we've had a great start to our 4 day weekend! We relaxed, played with friends, cleaned the house, mowed the yard, and we decided we weren't cooking tonight!

We headed out to dinner and then afterwards treated the kids to something extra special since we were in the area... Krispy Kream Donuts!!! The added bonus the sign Hot and Now was on!

Seth loved the donut and ate it all up. Nothing was left in his bowl!

Noah took a couple bites and was done!

We all enjoyed the sweet treat and the best part, there is some left for breakfast!!!

Egg Hunt #2

Sunday after naps we went to the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. Noah was of course beyond excited to hunt eggs again. He was even more excited when they told him money was in the eggs! Trust me he can't get far with the money in the eggs. He only got about twenty-five cents total.

Ready for the egg hunt to begin! Attempt to take a group photo...

Seth really enjoyed the eggs. He would shake them and then carry around only one egg. He decided he didn't need his bucket anymore.

Noah on the only hand was trying to get as many eggs as possible. The limit was 5 eggs and he had to put some back...

Let's see what's in this egg...

At the end they got a prize after turning in the plastic eggs. Both boys got a coloring book which they loved! Once we got home Noah insisted that he wanted to color in. So he did.

Where's the next egg hunt?!?!

Egg Hunts

Yesterday, we had our 2nd Annual Sunday School Easter Egg Hunt. It turned out great!!! The kids loved every minute of it, the adults got to mingle, the kids played, and everyone had a blast.

Seth enjoyed sitting watching everyone run around!

Morgan told the kids the Easter story and they all listened so well.

Time for coloring while the men hide the eggs...

And finally the Egg Hunt. The kids were beyond excited to search for the eggs.

Noah gave up finding anymore eggs after his basket was full. He was proud of the eggs he did find!

Family shots with all the new eggs with tons of candy!

Both boys wanted to hold their eggs while we rode home. We later realized it was because they wanted to see what was inside of them!

We had a great time and look forward to next years egg hunt!!!
