Busy Busy Busy!

We seem to always stay busy in our house. Most of the time I wonder where the week has gone! Since it's been so hot outside we decided to let Noah play out in the sprinkler to cool off after supper. He enjoyed it for sure! It took him a few seconds to get used to the cold water but afterwards he didn't want to get out!

Jeremy and I celebrated out 4th wedding anniversary this past week! We splurged and went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and got the best dessert there... red velvet cheesecake! My new favorite! Afterwards, we went and saw the movie "Grown Ups," a great movie!!! All in all it was a nice night out on the town! We were able to enjoy a quiet meal all to ourselves!

Life can be Messy!

In our house, no matter the meal, it's a mess! Noah insists on eating without assistance these days because at school they encourage him to eat without help. It makes for some fun times at home and in restaurants. Needless to say there is always food everywhere at our house once meal time is over.

It's been so hot in the afternoons, we've had to enjoy the outdoors early in the morning. It was so hot we needed to cool off with a Popsicle. It melted faster then someone could eat it!

Water is our new best friend! Noah loves water! He gets up in the morning and runs into our bathroom to turn the water on in the tub. Let's hope our water bill is not to high this month!

And this is how I found him finishing up supper last night... I turned my back to put the remainder in the frig and he's got the bowl up to his face! Priceless! They do say good to last drop!!!

Supper Clubs

Our Supper Club from church met tonight and it was a great night to be outside. The weather was perfect... not to hot!!! We ate pizza and the kids enjoyed all the water fun.

Jessica might be the oldest but she loves the water!

Olivia splashing into Jay

Noah sliding fast down the slide!

"Will someone please turn the water on?" says Jay

"Help I can't get my leg over the slide." Everyone helped Noah get his leg over the slide. For some reason he had difficulties this time.
Next supper club... who knows where?!?!?!

Beating the Heat....

... with a Popsicle!!!

Busy Weeks!

Why does it always feel like you need a vacation from your vacation? We've settled back into a routine here. Noah moved up in classrooms at school and he's getting adjusted slowly. He doesn't know very many people in there but soon he will! He had his follow-up Doctor's appointment from the Tube surgery and everything went great. Jeremy took him and they said his ears look fabulous and his hearing is improving. He's talking so well! There are days he holds an entire conversation with himself! We're in the process of switching Noah over to his new room. We purchased the bedding, now we need to get the bed frame and mattress and the walls painted and he'll be set to switch to the new room. We were able to go for a swim this morning at a friends house and the weather could have not been any more perfect! The water felt great and Noah loved the pool!
