Celebrate America

Tonight at church we attended the Celebrate America Program for the Fourth of July. We had a blast! We saw tons of friends and their children and listened to some patriotic music. Noah did good the entire time. He enjoyed all the wonderful music but his favorite part of the entire program was the fireworks at the very end.

Afterwards, there were trucks of all sizes for the kids to play on. Noah got the chance to see a Fire Truck, a Police Car, a SWAT Car, an Ambulance, and a Construction Truck. He was in heaven with all the trucks!

Beach Bums!

This past week we packed our bags and headed to Myrtle Beach! We had so much fun. It was a different experience for Jeremy and me since we had Noah this year. Noah enjoyed the ocean and the pool but the water had to be warm before he would venture into it. Once he was in he loved to splash and play around. The sand was interesting. Several times he tried to eat it but we would pull his hands out of his mouth quickly. He played in the sand, road on the lazy river, visited the playground, and had a blast doing it all!

Pool Party!

Tonight we celebrate Jeremy's mom Birthday and his dad's Father's Day! It was also Noah's first time in a big boy swimming pool and he loved every minute of it! He swam around in a float and then made it to the little baby pool where he could stand and splash around. He did a really good job kicking and also using his arms to push in the water. Go Noah! It was a great night at the pool celebrating! To bad I got so excited about Noah in a pool I forgot to take pictures of everyone else!

Happy Father's Day!

Noah and I surprised Jeremy on Wednesday morning with a note saying "It's all about you tonight... Happy Early Father's Day!" We are going to be at the beach for Father's Day and decided that Jeremy needed to know how much we love him. Noah and I picked out pretty cool gifts for him. He got a picture frame to put on his office desk, a new dress shirt and a pair of shorts for the beach. And then to Outback for some cheese fries! Dinner was nice and Noah was patient the entire time we were eating. Wednesday was truly all about Jeremy!!!

Weekend Fun

We had a fun weekend at our house. It started on Friday with purchasing patio furniture and getting a good night rest to Jeremy's first softball game with the church team. He had a ton of fun out there but it was super hot!!! He was 3 for 4! Awesome!

We had a mini cookout with a friend of ours. We hate Brandi could not come but we're already planning another cookout with her. Noah had a wonderful time on Sunday swimming in his pool. He played so well with all his toys!

New Additions!

We have a new addition to our house! Nope it's not an animal nor a baby... it's Patio Furniture! We've had our eyes open for 2 years waiting to get the perfect patio furniture and we finally got it. It's going to be nice to sit outback with the umbrella up and Noah swimming in his kiddy pool. Can't wait!! We might be out there this afternoon so come on over!

Sleeps like a Baby!

Why does everyone tend to say "slept like a baby" when some babies get up frequently throughout the night and others just don't slept much at all? At our house we have a true sleeps like a baby child. He's such a good napper and sleeper. He tends to take anywhere from 2-3 naps a day and on the average sleeps about 10-11 hrs each night! He'll wake up occasionally during the night time and we use old faithful (the swing) to get him back to sleep. The other night we tried rubbing his back and face and it worked great! Lets hope these good sleeping habits continue!

What an odd way to sleep! Today he was in his crib sound asleep holding his foot. I'm thinking not comfortable!

A baby & Cracker Barrel

This weekend we ventured to Cracker Barrel for dinner. We've enjoyed going there lately for a good ole home cooked meal. The last time we went Noah slept the entire time so we got to eat in peace and quiet. Not this time! It was dinner time for the little man also and he was making it known he was hungry through talking. It was the funniest thing ever. We're guessing he was expressing how hungry he was and how much he was enjoying his meal. He's a silly little dude!

Happy 7 Months!

Noah is 7 months old! We can hardly believe it! It feels just like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He's learned so many new things this past month...

1. He can sit up with support but not able to sit himself up.
2. Has 2 new teeth on the bottom with more to come... He's a fussy little dude when the teeth come in.
3. Loves to eat about anything you will put into his mouth.
4. Drowns constantly.
5. Has attempted several times to drink from a sippy cup and has been successful.
6. Can successfully take his socks and shoes off
7. Squirms all the time and doesn't like to sit still
8. Loves to go on outdoor walks with mom... HATES walking in the mall with a passion.

And if you look super hard you will see the 2 new teeth on the bottom. Beware if your hands or fingers come near those teeth... IT HURTS!

What's to come this next month... Who knows! But the little man is starting to show us signs he might crawl sooner then we think!
