Camp Out!

The weekend before last Jeremy and I were asked by the Children's Youth Pastor to help out with the kids Camp Out. Jeremy was going to help get kids and their parents to the fields and I was asked to be the Camp Nurse. Personally I was thrilled! I got a text message around lunchtime showing me my sleeping arrangements...

Yes I slept there. It was different but fun!

The boys had a blast! They were able to come cause mommy and daddy were there. And they had a blast! The went fishing, roasted marshmallows, sang songs, and ate all kinds of junk food! They had a blast running the fields. And Jeremy got some quality time with the kids!

As the Nurse, there 5 kids were injured... 2 of them mine. Interesting I think. We survived our first camping experience. Next time I'm bringing more blankets. But other then that I'd do it again in a heart beat!!!

Happy Easter!

Transitioning

Seth transitioned to a new daycare today... Hgbc daycare. We all had mixed emotions but overall he did great!

He made lots of friends, played nicely and ate great! He did ask if he could see his friends Zachary and Jacob from his old school. I promised we would go visit when we get Noah. Overall, he liked it and did great!

Game Day!

It was a beautiful day for a baseball game on Saturday! The weather was perfect (unlike today) and the kids were thrilled to play!

We said the opening prayer and got to playing...

Noah did great hitting!

And had a great time fielding. Each time the ball was hit his direction he ran to grab it and tried to throw it to first base. One time Jeremy ask him "why did you not throw it?" and Noah said, "Tucker was looking at me." Tucker was on first base and wasn't looking and Noah did the smart thing by waiting to throw it until he was looking.

We had a great time and hated our game was rained out today. Hopefully we'll get to play again real soon!

Tball - Game 1

The season has started for Tball and we had a great first game!

Getting warmed up for the game...

Pep Talk

Noah could not wait to bat. He stood at the entrance to the dug out just waiting for his turn.

And then it came! Jeremy pitched ball 1 to him, he missed, ball 2, he smashed it to third base!

He took off and made it to first! They each get to hit from the coach 3 times then hit off the tee.

He was pitcher this game and got lots of balls hit his direction.

Noah with his buddy Matthew

He stopped several ground balls and did a great job!

It was a great first game! The kids had fun and we even got from one player " Ms. Megan, y'all are an awesome coach!"
