Trick or Treat

Tonight, the official day of Halloween, we took the kiddos and went Trick or Treating! They had so much fun!!! We didn't know how they would react but they each walked up to the doors and some took more candy then others. But they had a blast and they have the candy to prove it!!!

Neighborhood kiddos.

Lets see how much candy we can get in our first house...

Tough decision choosing from all the candy!

By the end of the night, these 3 wanted to hold hands but it's very hard to hold hands with a bag FULL of candy!!!
They ALL had a fabulous time! Now let's see how much sleep they get tonight after all the candy they ate!!!

Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween!!!
This year was fun and exciting getting Noah all dressed up for Halloween. He was Woody from Toy Story. He has fallen in love with the movie and characters and what better way to let him dress up then as his favorite character!
"Woody" AKA Noah Belote... about the only picture with the Woody hat on.

After pictures, we ventured to the Fall Festival at church. And let's say Noah had a great time... check out the fun!!!

He even jumped in a bounce house.

He's getting better at basketball!

Ring toss.

We saw several friends but we only took our picture with Kayla.

Playin' basketball!

Tossing the golf balls.
Noah had tons of fun. He was too small for some rides but we've got next year to look forward too!!!!

Meals on Wheels.

On Monday and today, we delivered 3 meals to 3 different families in our Sunday School class. Each of these families had a baby about 2 weeks ago! Noah and I cooked all day Monday to prepared everything... BBQ chicken sandwiches, baked beans, cole slaw, chips and brownies for dessert. We hope everyone enjoyed their meal (and that it tasted good!)!!!!

Happy (almost) 2nd Birthday!!!!

Who says you can't celebrate a birthday early!?!?! And that is exactly what we did. Noah turns 2 in 2 weeks and we decided to have his party early!!! (beware this is going to be long!)
We celebrated it in style with his favorite vehicle... a firetruck!!! You should have seen his face light up when the firetruck pulled into the driveway... he was so excited!!!!
Mommy, Noah, Daddy and little Seth (still baking inside of me)

Uncle Garrett, Jay and Lyla enjoyed sitting in the passenger seat of the firetruck.

Jeremy and Noah... he LOVED sitting in the captain's chair!!!

close up... Jay Olin

an almost 2 yr old that was in Heaven!!!!!

Mr. Kit and Mrs. Amanda... thanks to Mrs. Amanda for helping out with "stuff" for the party!!!

Jayden Steed

Chris, Sage and Lyla Walters
Hailey and Karley Johnson... our sweet neighbors who we are going to miss SO much!!!

and the gang with the Firefighters!!!!!!

Noah loved every last minute of the firetruck.... he even asked for it this morning when he woke up!!!

The best part... the cake!!!

Mommy helping Noah blow out the candle.

and all the kids enjoying the cake!!!

Life can be messy but it always taste good with some sweet stuff on your hands!

The finished product.

Jay says the best part is the icing!

and Peyton agrees!

Present time.... I think I was more excited about this cause it meant new toys for the entire family to play with!

let's see what's in there....

Noah showing everyone the card his girlfriend Peyton made for him!!!

The firetruck gift!!!!

Noah's telling everyone to be quiet so they can hear his new firetruck!

Noah says "Thank you everyone for my gifts!"

The new toys!!!!!
All in all, it was a great party! If you ask Noah if he had fun... he nods his head, says yes and asks for more firetrucks! This mom would call it a successful 2nd birthday party!!!!

What a toddler will teach you...

I never realized my almost 2 year old would be teaching and reminding Jeremy and I things to do. It's amazing the little things he picks up on and how he can remember when to do them.

Lately, Noah has been saying "clean up, clean up" after we leave out of the playroom. He knows we must clean up the playroom before we can go to another room and mess it up!

We say the blessing before each meal and at bedtime with Noah. And now when he sits down to dinner and before bed he says "Blessing!" He wants us to say out prayers of thanksgiving! Sometimes during the meal he wants you to say the blessing 3 and 4 times but it's okay he's super grateful for the food on his plate!

He knows when he has a runny nose... he'll scream out "Kleenex" and then run to the restroom to grab some toilet tissue.

And you can't take him anywhere without him letting you know what's inside the store. We go to Lowe's and he wants to sit on the lawn mowers; go to the grocery store and wants to ride in the race car and get a cookie; and now ride by the pumpkin farm and calls out pumpkins!

Those are only a few things he reminds and teaches us! There are plenty more!!!

Funny Friday's

And this is how Noah got his shirt stuck on himself while trying to remove it to change clothes... interesting!!!

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

This has been an interesting couple of days since last Friday. Everyone in our house has been sick with something. We're going to have to super-clean our house and make sure there are no germs for little Seth to come home to in the next couple of weeks.

I've found a new favorite product... it's oxi clean baby!!! I got it at my baby shower the other weekend and had a great reason to use it this past Sunday. Needless to say, Noah made a mess on his white bed sheets and we washed them and nothing came out. So i busted out the oxi-clean and WOW those white sheets are as good as new!!! Go get some of this stuff if you don't own any!

Noah's vocabulary has expanded so much the past few weeks. He's talking great and all the time. The first thing in the morning and afternoon when we get him from school he says... "fire trucks, computer, tonight, please." In 2 year old lingo that means "can we look at firetrucks on the computer tonight, please?" How can you resist with that sweet face! We've been watching lots of fire trucks on the computer, TV, and when we hear one coming down the road we stop so Noah can watch them! Oh to be a 2 yr old and get excited over fire trucks!!!!

We're excited to read him the book each night and can't wait til we can bring home his new little brother. He's going to be the best BIG brother!!!

Happy Monday!

We've had a busy couple of days at our house... cleaning, organizing, returning! and I think it's all almost done!

This little man has really grown up in the past few weeks. He's a great talker and can really pronounce all his words well except Firetruck. We're working on that one for an upcoming event. He walked up to me this morning while I was getting ready and said "hey babe!" Priceless! Jeremy gave him a haircut over the weekend and it's super short! But Noah is still cute with it. He got his first real boo-boo today that required a band aid cause it would not stop bleeding. He did not want to keep the band aid on. He's still a great eater! And he's getting ready to turn 2!!!!! Yikes!
