Trick or Treating 2012

The day started with tons of fun! We were beyond excited to get to wear our costume one more time to school. We decided it would be even cooler if we got to be 2 superheros today... so for the morning he was Spiderman @ school... (partly because he got his costume dirty on Friday when he wore it so we needed it to be clean for tonight) and Seth went as Seth for today to school.

We waited patiently for mommy to get home from work to get our costumes on and head out with all our friends. The only way they were allowed to eat any candy was if they ate all their dinner and they passed with flying colors!

Here we are... Spider-Woody (Seth) and Captain America (Noah). Seth thought it would be awesome when he walked out of the house to put on Noah's mask from this morning instead of his hat. We just went with the flow and let him do it!

We tried to get a group picture with all the kids but this is about as good as it gets with 15 little ones under age 4!!!

Take 1

Take 2

Take 3

Take 4

Take 5

And then off we went searching for the perfect candy!!! Seth had a blast. He had a hard time keeping up with the big kids but he stayed with his buddies Colten and Jack and they had a great time trick or treating!!!

Noah was a pro this year...

2 of the sweetest kids...

who cares about a picture! we got candy mom!!!

Our neighbors were very generous about handing out candy!!!

They got all sorts of candy and we went through it all! They even got something I thought would not be a hit to them... a toothbrush!!! Love that neighbor! Seth and Noah were beyond excited about their toothbrushes that they had to use them tonight!!!

Pajama Day!

Today was Pajama Day @ school and the kids were beyond excited. I mean who does not like to hang out in their pj's all day long! Noah picked out his favorite, Spider-man, and I found something for Seth to wear, Halloween pj's. They were super cute!!!

Two days in a row, Monday and Tuesday, I got the fun phone call telling me one of the kids got injured. This time it was Seth both times. On Monday, he decided to be Spider-man and jump off the diaper changing station at school and on Tuesday, he was running across the floor and tripped over the carpet causing himself to get a bloody nose. at least it was nothing too serious!!!

A Relaxing Weekend...

We had a stress-free weekend with nothing to do and it was fabulous!!! We got a few things knocked out at the house and really enjoyed the weekend being lazy. We ordered pizza on Friday night, slept in on Saturday, did chores around the house, ate dinner at Outback, and had movie night. Sunday we went to church and went for a walk around the neighborhood...

We also helped Gramps to celebrate his Birthday! We had ribs and shrimp and some awesome pineapple cake!!! It was delicious!!! I enjoy weekends like this and I know the kids did. Noah told me before going to bed that it was a fun weekend.

Father/ Son Bonding

On Monday, Jeremy decided he wanted to take Noah to work with him to show him everything he does. Noah was beyond excited to go to work with his daddy. (Jeremy has the week off work but had to go in for a few hours.) Sunday night, we talked about our work outfit and we decided we need to wear something extra special... so we got our white shirt out and a new tie to wear...

He was lookin' good and from the sounds of it, everyone thought he was precious all dressed like his daddy. He went through the big frig's at work, helped with breakfast time service (might have done a little taste testing from what I understand), and worked on "his" work... I told him while he was there he needed to work on his ABC's and sure enough Jeremy said he remembered and asked for some paper to "work." Afterwards, Jeremy took him to see the movie Finding Nemo in 3D. All in all, I think Noah had a good day @ work.
