"King of Queens"
The Belote Family had a pretty uneventful weekend. Restful, peaceful and relaxing. Nothing was planned and nothing had to get done asap. Friday, Noah's grammy picked him up from daycare and they came back to the house to hangout til Jeremy could get home from work. And everyone went out for pizza (except me) but they were thinking and brought some home to me. Saturday, we made it over to my mom's house where we helped to put out lights on the front lawn and to Kohl's to "browse" the store. Saturday evening, this is how Noah sat for about 30 minutes while is favorite TV show came on... The King Of Queens. He was completely content the entire time and just watched Kevin James from beginning to the end. The boy know what TV shows are going to be important in this house. He doesn't get into TV at all but just this one show. Sunday was more relaxing! We're both hoping the week turns out as relaxing as this weekend!

Diapers Only, please!
Noah has enjoyed the past couple of days chillin' in only his underwear (better known as his diaper). We are not sure why but he is more content with his clothing off and the diaper only. It has made me wonder when he gets bigger if I'm going to have a little boy that runs around the house in his underwear all the time.
That's a big ole belly!
Love those cheeks!!!
Noah LOVES to look at himself... we even got a smile!!!

What a weekend!
We had a fabulous weekend! We started off Saturday with our favorite breakfast... Cinnamon rolls! We relaxed the rest of the day then headed out to spend Valentines Day with some of our good friends the Walters. We ate at HOPS then played some Wii. The best part was watching everyone on American Idol Wii to see how they did. Everyone sang great! Sunday we went to my mom's house so she could visit with boys. We had lunch and the boys napped and so did I. A good nap to start the week off! Noah heads back to daycare this week. He's the first baby to daycare each morning so he gets a ton of attention from his teachers til the others get there. Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Noah's 1st day of Daycare
On Tuesday Noah went to his first day of Daycare! It was exciting but sad because my little man is growing up right before our eyes. He is getting so big so quick. I dropped him off at 7:15am, (I ended up working half a day that day) and then by 2pm I picked the little man up! He was sound asleep in the crib. I was told by his teachers that he loves the ladies and the teachers have enjoyed getting to know him. I even got a phone call from Noah half way throughout the day letting me know he was having fun!
Noah and his teacher (I can't remember her name!)
Noah was exhausted by the end of the day and it shows... he fell asleep in his dad's arms whiling watching his favorite TV program: "The King of Queens."

They're a Survivor!
Both Noah and Jeremy survived this past weekend!
It was my first weekend back to work and needless to say I was worried how it would go. I made it home Sunday night to find everyone was in one piece, the diaper rash bottom had ointment, everyone was fed and bathed, and the laundry was done! Whoopie! Jeremy was exhausted by 8pm Sunday night. He said "Noah can wear you down!." I kept telling him the same thing he tells me "Take a nap!" He insisted on no nap and was exhausted. Jeremy said him and Noah played all weekend. Noah was able to spend time with both sets of grandparents and got to enjoy some beautiful outdoor weather.
Noah has some new noises that I've noticed. I'm not sure how many of you watched "Home Improvement" with Tim the tool man Taylor but Noah has started making those kind of noises. It's so cute! You'll find him grunting at random toys and even when he tries to take a nap. I'm hoping though Noah will be a little more handy around the house then Tim Taylor.
PS: I was warned this weekend at work could be horrible... yeah right it was an awesome weekend!!!! and Thank you to Bethany for hosting the best girls night I've had in a long time! We had so much fun at her house on Friday night

Movin' on Up!
Noah is officially 3 months old today! So many things have changed in the past 3 months for us and for him...
We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we brought this little one home... we were up every 2-3 hrs a night feeding him, running on few hours of sleep, constantly changing diapers, and listening to the cutest bird cry anyone has every heard. Since he was 5 weeks early, he slept a lot his first few weeks of life. NOW the little one is wide awake and playful. He sleeps anywhere from 5-8 hrs a night (on a good night it's about 7hrs which is the norm). We get more sleep as parents because we only have to get up once during the nighttime. And the bird cry has turned into a full scream/ cry that could wake the neighborhood. He's a great eater and loves his milk... good to the last drop. (Don't take the bottle away from him cause he'll fight you for it). He's found his hands now and loves to put them into his mouth. The fist is the new pacifier for Noah. Sleeping all day long has turned into more wakeful periods and he is more playful and content now.
We've enjoyed every minute with this little one the past 3 months. He is a true blessing!
His shirt reads "Big man of the House" and it so true. He rules this house!!!
He's got the personality now of his dad. They are just a like!!!

Hi-Ho Hi-Ho It's off to work I go...
I started back to work on Monday. I felt like a new grad at work! I asked my co-workers so many questions about different things and I was so slow at doing stuff. I did get an IV on the first go around but he had good veins so it helped. I have to say I did not miss getting up at 5:15 AM to go to work. It's going to be different getting a little one ready with me. Noah will start daycare next week. His Grammy kept him on Monday and Tuesday while I went to work. Jeremy was so nice to delay Noah's bath time and night feeding until I got home so we could put him to bed together. It was nice to have the bond with him. I missed him so much during the day! I kept looking at the picture I had of him on my clipboard. But the good part is I only work 3 days a week so I've got 4 other days this week to spend with him.
Everyone wish Jeremy good luck this coming weekend.... He will be keeping Noah by himself all weekend long. He told me they have plans for breakfast at Jimmie's Restaurant or Chick-fil-A and then might run a few errands and then Sunday church and maybe to go to a Hockey game that Jeremy scored free tickets for. Have fun with Dad this weekend Noah!!!

Rosebud Dedication
On Sunday Noah and his cousin Jay had their Rosebud Dedication at Church. It's a special time to "show off" your little one to the church and for them to commit to pray over him as he grows. At first Noah was not a happy camper about the day but we calmed him down and he enjoyed the moment. They each got a Rose, Children's Bible to read, and a letter to read when they accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. As parents, Jeremy and I are commited to reading the Bible daily to him and making sure he knows who his other Father is.
And Rev. Matt dedicating Noah!
The funny part about the day was that both boys got their clothes wet before we went on stage. We had to use the dryer at the church to dry Noah's pants before we went up there. The joys of parenthood! (Lesson #1: Always bring a change of clothes!)
