Getting Big SO Fast!

Noah is getting big so fast! It seems like yesterday he did not move and now he is almost all over the place. He is starting to move backwards and now can get on all four's and push up with his arms. He can move about 2 steps and them crashes but we think by his 9 month birthday we will have a crawler on our hands. He finds all sorts of ways to get around... rolling, jumping on his bottom, pushing up, etc.

Salute to the Troop

We had the privilege to have a good friend over for dinner tonight. Davy is home from Iraq for 2 weeks and he had yet to meet Noah. Davy is the one behind setting Jeremy and me up on the first date and now we're married! We've called him "Mr. Hitch." It was super nice to catch up and see how things are going. We filled him in on all the details here in the USA while he filled us in on what is going on in Iraq. We hope to see them again this weekend. Be safe here and Thanks for serving our country!!!

Pools of Fun!

What a beautiful day outside! This morning we packed our bags and headed to Ms. Rhonda's house for a little fun in the sun. Ms. Lori Beth was there along with Grammy and we had so much fun soaking up the rays of sunshine. We were afraid it might turn out to be a cloudy day but the weather was perfect and the company was great. Noah loved the water and was so good the entire time. He had so much fun splashing in the water and playing outside the water on the towel.

The Good Church Boys

Each Sunday Morning, we get up super early to head to church! I'm normally up first, Jeremy to follow and hopefully Noah will sleep til 7 so we can all get showered and dressed. After eating breakfast, we pack our bags and head to church! Noah loves it there! He learns about Jesus and his parents get some good praise and worship time in. Noah's cousin, Jay is in his Sunday School class and they love there teachers so much! They are the greatest!

Randomness.

Today has just been one of those random but good days. We started off great... Noah slept a whole 12-hrs straight through in the HOT house (our house was 75 degrees all night long for some reason); we had breakfast together; and then Jeremy got off work early! His boss let him take half a day and tomorrow off! Tons of fun for me and Noah!

We played after we woke up from our nap. All he wanted to do was stand behind his toys or stand holding up the couch! Funny guy!

And then during this nap, I made some creations. I started out with the above Mason Jars and ended with the below cookie jars. Noah has tons of teachers at his daycare and Hobby Lobby already had there Christmas stuff out so I started a bit early while I could. I had so much fun creating this containers!

Finally after a wonderful afternoon walk with Ms. Darby and Hailey, we went to celebrate Jeremy's birthday tonight as a family. We took him to Red Lobster so we could get some good cheese biscuits. We even brought leftovers home!

And last, Noah finally visited ever little guys dream world... TOYS R US!!! He loved all the toys we put up to him. To bad the entire store can't come home with us. Oh but don't worry your birthday is not far away Noah!

Growing up!

Yesterday, Noah decided he would give himself the bottle with no assistance from mom. He took his water right from my hands along with his snacks and gave it to himself. He's growing up way to fast for me! A year ago today was when we found out we were having a baby boy, Noah, and now I can't believe he is already 8 months old. Jeremy and I are beginning to wonder if he might not "pull-up" before he crawls. Just this morning he had hold of the foot rest of the chair and was on his knees attempting to pull up. He's growing up way to fast!

Happy 8 months!

This sweet little guy turned 8 months old on Monday! He is getting so big so fast! He has not yet crawled but he is rolling all over the place. He can get on his hands and knees but doesn't know what to do with it yet. He takes nose dives into his toys far away to get them. He's hurt himself a couple of times but wipes it right off. We've started to give him some table food cut up really small and he enjoys it. He likes the flavored taste and textures.

He's such a sweet baby! We couldn't ask for anyone better!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July! It was Noah's first along with several others. My sister did a great job putting together a party. They made awesome hamburgers and hot dogs and all the fixings to go with it. So many of our friends and neighbors stopped by. The kids hung out in the baby pool while the adults socialized!
