We have a had wonderful Christmas thus far! The party is just getting started. The boys are loving their new toys, eating tons of great food, and enjoying time with friends and family! I was supposed to work this past Christmas Day but with the new job Christmas Day is the day they close so everyone gets to celebrate it. I have taken a couple of days off work to enjoy the Holiday with the kids.
We started our Christmas Eve by going to "The New Hickory Grove Tradition" of Christmas Eve Service. It did not disappoint. (My attempt of getting both boys in collared shirts did not work out... someone insisted upon wearing Batman.)
We met a ton of friends and family their to celebrate the day... Gavin, Jay, and Noah
Here's a group of shot of several kiddos in our Sunday School Class... so glad we were all able to come together! Noah was very excited to hear the "Baby Jesus" story. We've been telling him about it by asking him questions. He'll ask us in the car to tell him about the manger story!!!
After service, we gathered our things and went to Jeremy's family house to celebrate with his family. Noah enjoyed playing with Uncle JoJo.
The Belote cousins... Noah, Seth and Dylan
Seth was so good all night. We had no idea if he would pass out on us since he was having to stay up a bit later then normal!
Seth loved being pulled by the wagon...
Group shot of the entire family!
Present time... the time Noah had been waiting for the entire day! He begged from the moment we walked into the house to open a present. Poor kid had to wait til everyone got their.
Seth enjoyed the presents too but he mainly enjoyed pulling the ornaments off the tree...
We made it home and tucked the kids into bed. We read the "Baby Jesus" story as Noah would call it and then off Santa's Helpers went getting all the toys together...
Seth's new toys...
Noah's new toys...
Looks like both boys were on the "nice" list this year!
Noah had a bit of a "rough" night. He started to cry out around 11pm and I knew the only way to get him to sleep was to come with me in bed. So off we went and he was back to sleep in 5 min. And poor Jeremy slept in Noah's tiny bed!
The first to wake up Christmas morning was none other then Seth. He was ready to get this party started. Jeremy came and work Noah and I up and in we went to tell Seth that Santa had come. Love when Noah comes into Seth's room and says "Good Morning!"
It took Noah a second to figure out about the toys and all but not long to start unwrapping the gifts. He opened every single one so quickly. Seth in the background just wondered around downstairs...
A new "Go Fish" board game!
and a Don't Break the Ice...
Seth still wondering...
He finally realized there were toys over their for him and he got so excited!
We had a "fancy" breakfast of cinnamon rolls. Hardly any clean-up and everyone loves. We sang "Happy Birthday Jesus" and Noah loved every minute of it. He sang it at the top of his lungs!!!
We devoured breakfast and played while everyone got ready to head out the door again...
A mean game of "Don't Break the Ice" broke out while I was in the shower...
Seth loved being pulled around in his new wagon...
He loves this gift. He's pulled it around all day!
Noah was very much into his trains. He has played non-stop with the trains and needless to say all of them have new batteries now!
Thank you mommy and daddy for our new gifts! We love them...
Now off to grandma's house we go....
