Rainy Days

We enjoyed the rain yesterday, especially the grass, but we so hate it when we cannot get outside! We were indoors all day long and are all so glad we can get out for a walk this afternoon. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the rain come from the sky, took a mini-walk in the rain to Dunkin Donuts with Ms. Katie before she left, and crawled up and down the stairs about 5 times to sum up our day. The playroom was a mess by the end of the day but we had so much fun it!

Noah enjoys going to this corner of the playroom to play. We think because all the books are over there and he can pull them off the shelf. All smiles!

Bathtub fun! He loves the bath and he'll kill me one day for posting this picture but it's a cute little bottom!

Love Unexpected Guests!

Last night, I was we had an unexpected guest spend the night... Ms. Katie McGinnis! It was so good to see her. She's my best bud from the Elementary School days and I have not had the chance to see her since January! We had a blast catching up and just doing our girl talks. Noah slept well the entire time during our laughs and loud talking. We got up this morning thinking we would make breakfast but Dunkin Donuts is a mile down the road so we grabbed our walking shoes and had some donuts and coffee for breakfast. She's already gone and it was so sad to see her leave but I'm crossing my fingers cause she said she might be moving back to Charlotte!

oh how he's growing so much...

Noah is growing so much in the past few weeks. He has become super active and we love it! He's all over the house and into anything he can get himself into. We're going to have a hard time keeping up with him when he can walk!

Noah loves books! But what he loves most is getting all the books off the bookshelf and into the floor. He finds it very entertaining!

He will eat about anything... Notice the shiny marking on the wall... he licked the wall!! Yes I'm thinking gross but he laughed after he did it.

And if he does not like food, he will pull it right back out of his mouth.

I'm on the move... He loves steps and going to the top! Each day we give him a chance to crawl up to the top and he loves every minute of it. He's become a master of steps!

When he's tired, he'll show ya with a big yawn! We were at a football game here and he was exhausted. He feel asleep on the car ride home.
Oh how he's growing so much!

oh what a week!

This has been an interesting week needless to say. My week started off with a bang! I get to work Monday morning, get report on all my patients with my orientee at my side and we get organized on our daily tasks for the start of the morning. We go to see our first patient... a 3 week old with rule out fever workup. Mom is in there changing the diaper and I hear a little rumble in the diaper going on. I'm about 3 feet away from the babies bottom. In the meantime the mom hikes this kids legs up and out squirts everything out this child's bottom onto me! GROSS I know!!! Please keep in mind I was 3 whole feet away from this child's bottom and still managed to get hit with some nasty-ness! I ran out of the room, managed to get my shirt off without getting poop in my hair, and luckily my boss had extra scrubs in her office! Praise the Lord. I felt like I smelled awful all day long. I put on so much perfume it was ridiculous! By Tuesday afternoon at work I began to feel just awful. I knew something was coming on. I had our MD look at me and she thought for sure I had something going on. I skipped the urgent care and minute clinic this time and went straight to the Doctor's Office and found out I have some kind of bacterial infection in the back of my throat. Oh so gross once again. It caused my neck to swell and my entire body to ache. So I'm out of work the rest of the week to RELAX! and get better! I really really really do hope this is the last of anyone in this house getting sick. I can't handle it anymore!!

** I forgot to add in that I also locked myself out of the car after my Drs. appt for 3 hrs. Jeremy came to the rescue and got the keys out!!**

Weekends!

We LOVE weekends at our House!!! It's a great time to relax and have fun. This weekend was no different. We started off on Saturday with Jeremy's Grandparents visiting from GA. They had yet to see our new house, so they came over for a visit around lunchtime. It was a wonderful visit. Noah played for the first half and then we knew something wasn't right about the little guy. After they left, he went down for his afternoon nap and he got sick to his stomach. Luckily, Jeremy was at home to help clean up the mess. Noah jumped in the bathtub and we could tell he was feeling so much better! We packed up our things and headed to the football fields to watch Jeremy's brother, Jordan play in his first football game of the season. They killed the other team! The cool part is one of Jordan's coaches is a former Quarterback for the Panthers! Afterwards we went to dinner and had feast to eat. Noah went to sleep a bit earlier then everyone else but he was a trooper when we got him up to bring him back home. We were unable to attend church this morning because Noah got sick yesterday so we headed out Sunday morning for breakfast and boy was it good! We've been chilling at the house all afternoon watching football! Noah enjoys it when they get a touchdown... He throws his arms into the air!!!
We hope your weekend was as relaxing and fun as ours!!!
(We forgot the camera so no pictures :-(.)

Happy 10 Months!

Noah is 10 months old!!!
We can't believe this little guy is almost 1 yr old. We're starting to plan for a birthday party and it's getting so exciting. We've enjoyed all the changes that have taken place in the last month. We've finally advance to a sippy cup. Boy was that hard! All of a sudden he started drinking from one out of no where. I did the happy dance. He is crawling all over the place and into everything. We have to say "stop" more then we wish. We can't say "no" because Noah gets it confused with his name but when we say stop he sure does stop. He's taking a few steps with his walker and doing very well with it. We're not sure when he might walk.

What's next Noah?!?!
