Snow Fun!!!

The boys had a blast in the little bit of snow we did get. They were begging to go out at 7am! I told them we had to wait and then around 8 we got our stuff on and headed out for some fun. We might have woke some neighbors with our laughs and giggles playing outside but they had a blast! They could have stayed out in it all morning but I got cold around an hour into it and we went back indoors. 

Seth screamed "Snow ball fight!" It was cute. He could grab some snow and then run at you!

Right when this picture was taken Seth's feet came out from underneath him and he slipped on the ice in the middle. He's a tough kid. He jumped right up and kept playing. 

They had a great time running around in the snow. Afterwards, we came in for a warm bath and a fresh set of pajama's. We've enjoyed our snow day!!!

Snow 2014!!!

With all the excitement and anticipation building, the snow fall finally started to come down around 5pm here. The kids had to look hard to see it and were thrilled to see it come down. They have slept with their blinds open last night waiting for the snow to come today. Seth wanted to touch it and went out in his PJ's. He loved it and is already planning a snowball fight tomorrow in it. 

On the other hand, Noah wants to take the trucks outside and drive them in the snow and ride his bike around in it. To be a kid again. It sure is fun watching the snowfall through their eyes! Now I'm hoping work closes tomorrow!

The Giant Cats!

Our Saturdays are packed each weekend but we wouldn't change it. It's the phase we are in right now. We started out with grocery shopping, delivering a dinner to a family whom recently had a baby and then basketball followed by naps and a birthday party to end the afternoon.

We were very impressed how he played yesterday. He played so hard! Go Noah! He even got to shot a basket and was so excited!

The Giant Cats

Saturday was basketball 1st thing in the morning. It made the day seem not so broken with it being at 9am! Good thing my kids are up by then! 

Here are some highlights...

Noah had a blast and is already asking when he can go back to play basketball. He enjoys it! We don't keep score which is a good thing. They just go out there and have fun!

Cousin Love

With it being so nice outside on Sunday, we went for a walk and ventured over to the cousins house. We got there and Aunt Morgan asked if she could run to the grocery store, alone. My kind of grocery shopping. I kept the 5 kiddos for about 30 min and all were well-behaved!

Keepin' it real...

Let's face it. It's hard to keep 2 little ones entertained at the dinner table for more then 5 min and at a restaurant it can be a challenge. But thankfully for good bread and sitting in a corner, we managed to not cause to much trouble...

It's Saturday and that means basketball. Noah's team has an official name... the Giant Cats!

Go Panthers!

Today was Fan Friday for the Carolina Panthers! The boys were super excited to wear their Panthers gear and so was mommy! I got to ear my jersey and jeans! Any day to wear something beside scrubs the nice!

Go Panthers! I know 2 little boys who will be cheering you on to victory!

Words of a 5 yr old...

I got a kick out of my 30 min commute to work conversation with Noah...

- Mommy, when will your face wear out?

- So mommy, when you turn 100, how old will I be and will you be worn out?

- Mommy, when you're 100, how big will your bed be? I'm thinking he thinks we continue to grow as we age.

And they get better each commute!

Basketball!

Yesterday was the 1st game of the season! Noah had a blast playing basketball and could not wait for it to come! He asked everyday til Saturday "is it game day?!?!" They had team photos to start...

Then it was time to play... Noah was all over the court shooting, dribbling, and passing it to his team mates. 

The 1st half was more about getting to understand the game still but they all did very good!

He even dribbled the ball great!

He had a blast and he's already looking forward to next week!

(and so is my camera... i adjusted some things on it per the manual to see if I can get better photos of action shots!)

He Shoots, He Scores!

Noah is playing basketball this Winter and he's enjoying it so far. He has had several practices and is getting the hang of it. He talks about playing basketball at school all the time. They have a goal his size at the playground. He's enjoying it so far. 

He's doing a great job getting the ball up to the goal. I was a little worried he might be too short!

He scored a couple goals tonight and got all excited! He always looks over to us to make sure we saw when he scored. He's having fun playing and enjoying meeting new friends! 1st game is Saturday!
