My crazy Seth!

I do believe Seth is crazy! On Tuesday, he sled into a thorn patch while going sledding; Wednesday he cut his finger really bad, I couldn't get it to stop bleeding so we ended up in the Urgent Care before they closed; and you got a bloody nose while sledding on Thursday.

Seth you are my crazy child!!! You keep me on my toes!!! You are a momma's boy! ( don't you love the hair!?!)

SNOW!!!

We had a blast playing in the snow yesterday! The kids could not wait to get home from school and get their clothes on to go outside. I opened the blinds and waited until Jeremy got home to take them out. We picked up Jay (his dad was still working and with a baby in the house, I knew his mom could not get outside to take him) and headed out to find some hills.

We started out at the hill right outside our door in the common area. It was a good first hill for the kids. Noah and Seth loved it but Jay was only interested in throwing snow balls at them...

Then we found a bigger hill....

We told the kids they could not go down it unless one of us was in the slide with them. Seth didn't listen (big surprise) and took off in the sled and right into a thorn patch. He freaked at first, mainly cause Jay and Noah said he was bleeding from his lip but the tough kid he was dug his head into the snow to stop the bleeding and then I'm not joking asked to do it again. We moved to another, safer hill.

And they all had a blast sliding down the hill! They said this is awesome about 5,000 times! I'm so glad I got to join in on the fun (and that the thorns did not seriously injure Seth).

2 teeth!!!

Today was a day of the unexpected... from what time will it snow to what time will we be getting out of work to what in the world will we eat for dinner... today I also did not expect to see this when I picked Noah up from school around 2pm today!!!

Here's the story from Noah: I walk up to his door at school, it's glass and he can see me. He instantly gets up runs to the door holding these 2 tiny things in his hand and then grins. I immediately look up at the teacher thinking she might know when this all occurred. Nope she had no idea. He told us he was wiggling his teeth during nap time and then just pulled and they came up. They didn't bleed a lot he said but he got up to go to the bathroom and then sat back down.

We baked a cake the night before for some random reason and we iced it today when we got home to celebrate Noah loosing 2 teeth! They are tucked under his pillow safely in a glove (you know a medical glove cause they don't have zip-lock bags at school). This one is going in the memory books for sure!!!

Transitioning

Seth moved to a new room at school today! He was so excited to finally go to the big kids hall and as he calls it be a big boy now! You might can not tell but he was thrilled to be there this morning...

(He cut himself Saturday night in his sleep and was picking it this morning on the way in to school. He insisted on a band aid.)

Weekend Recap

We had an unexpected busy weekend... It was nice though because we were all together as a family!

Friday night, we let the boys sleep in the playroom which they thought was cool. We put them to bed around 8:30 but it took them about an hour to get to sleep. They kept playing with their toys and getting up. They enjoy sleep-overs with each other but it was the first in the playroom. Normally they sleep in either of their rooms together and fall right to sleep.

Jeremy had a men's rally first thing Saturday morning. He met us at Noah's basketball game where Noah played awesome!

He even shot a couple baskets which he was excited about! He is getting the hang of holding his hands up to block. I then ran to a "Thank you" Banquet for serving in the Children's Ministry each Wednesday night. It was nice. Shortly after though we decided to take a road trip down to Gaffney, SC to see if they had any new furniture pieces. We are wanting to redo out living room and found some awesome pieces down there. Now all we have to do is sell the stuff here at the house! But we ended up getting a flat tire in the trailer while down there. The boys were with us and did awesome patiently waiting for us to fix the tire. We finally made it back home around 8pm and everyone was tucked into bed. It was a fun Saturday!
