Weekend Recap

This past weekend was a busy one! It started off with a ladies breakfast that I hosted for our Sunday School Class ladies. We all came together to plan out some fun events for the upcoming year and make sure that everyone was able to get involved in the planning. Overall, I think it turned out great! So far no one has gotten sick off my cooking!

Immediately afterwards, we rushed to our neighbors house for a Birthday Party. Miss Peyton was turning 3!!! Seth enjoyed playing outside in the beautiful weather...

Noah really enjoyed her playground...

Seth hung out with Owen...

Who doesn't love a good birthday cake... the Birthday girl herself... Peyton!

The boys loved mainly the icing from the cake (it is the best part)...

Seth played "hide and seek"...

Afterwards, we headed home for some good naps then it was back outside for more fun. We were teaching Seth how to play baseball. Noah was the sweetest. He helped him swing the bat. He would say "You do it like this, no Seth like This." and he was demonstrate how to swing. Honestly Seth could care less and just wanted to run with the bat but for me it was sweet seeing them bond.

Getting to use our deck...

More deck fun...

And on a side note, Noah wanted to know why I have not taken there picture the past few mornings! I mean hello! It can be a bit difficult to get these 2 together to get a picture. But we squeezed one it before school...

And I still made it on time with 10 minutes to spare!

Spirit Day Finale!!

Oh. My. Word. We had so much fun at Discovery Place Kids.... the kids slept in til 7:30 and they loved every minute of it! To their surprise they did not realize the fun we were going to have today! We ate breakfast and then packed our bags; we were all so excited!!!

We were the first in line. Seth greeted the Fireman...

Noah and Daddy played on the Fire Trucks (and even got to see some real ones when we left)...

Noah kept telling us all about the trains the entire way their and made sure we went to them next...

We climbed a jungle...

We slide down from slides

Seth was a little unsure about the slide

We climbed some walls (at this point about 200 Elementary School kids entered into the building)...

Seth loved to play with the chickens eggs...

He kept filling the basket with eggs and would walk around the room with his basket full of eggs...

We found a tractor...

And the water table was his favorite!

Needless to say he was soaked!

All in all they had a blast!!!

We stayed about 2 hrs and then headed out cause it was getting packed in their. The kids had a blast and Noah annouced he needed Bojangles for lunch. So we stopped for a quick lunch then headed home... where they have been napping for 3 hrs!!!!!!!!!

Team Spirit Day!!!

Today at the Daycare was Team Spirit Day! We had our Clemson Tigers gear out prepared to wear them but Noah had other plans this morning of what he wanted to wear. He would not put on the sweatshirt (partly because he knows it's too big for him). He insisted upon wear his other football shirt. So I was not going to argue about it and said okay. And from that moment he was pleasant the rest of the morning...

Noah and Seth - mommy and daddy have something up our sleeves for tomorrow. Get a good nights rest, dream some good dreams. You get to sleep in and then we are off to Discovery Place Kids!!!! At 4pm-ish today, my boss asked if I would like a half day off tomorrow. I said sure then she said how about the whole day. And who could pass up a whole day off work... not me!!! This was totally out of the blue! So family fun has been planned for tomorrow!!! Yippie!!!

Pajama Day!!!

Today's Spirit Day was Pajama Day!!! The kids were so excited to wear their pj's today to school. Needless to say, so was I because it made getting them up out of bed so much easier. And for the record, they did not sleep in the pj's they wore which would have been the smart thing to do but I changed them into some other fancy ones before we left the house...

These 2 crack me up... they now will go sit at the bottom of the step each morning since this is day 4 of me taking photos of them!

Seth is saying " Noah if you touch my vanilla wafers, I will get you!" And I promise I bath Noah each night; his teachers at school like to give him tattoos or stamps and they are not the easiest to get off!

Now Eastover: Can I have pajama day tomorrow?!?! Pretty please! Yeah right. I practically wear pajamas with the stretch pants we wear every day!

Cartoon Character Day!!!

Can you guess what today was for Spirit Week???

It was Cartoon Character Day. Bless Noah's heart, he wanted to wear his Halloween Spiderman Costume but I was not sure if the teachers would allow that or not. Come to find out some kids did wear their costumes but Noah was equally excited about his Batman shirt. He helped me get Seth dressed in his Elmo shirt and we were off and out the door!

Stickers helped to get a picture this morning!

Do you see the "bruise" on Seth's forehead? When Jeremy picked them up from school yesterday, the teachers said he bumped it during nap time. OUCH! Nice bruise Seth but at least it's going away fast!!! Now sleep tight kiddos cause tomorrow is another fun day ahead....

Spirit Week!

This week at the kids daycare is Spirit Week... and Monday was "Hat Day." We picked out our hats the night before, very excited to wear them today. The only one that fit Seth's head was the Clemson one and Noah picked out his all time favorite, The Mater Hat.

Seth wore his a total of probably 10 min and Noah wore his the entire day. He even wanted to wear it to bed!!! Now to get everything in order for tomorrow...

Sundays!

Each Sunday, we get up, dressed and head out the door to as Noah calls it "Church School". The kids really do like Sunday School and so do we.

We are enjoying the series this year... Year of the Bible! It's really neat. We are ready the Bible all the way from beginning to end and after you've heard it 3 times, sometimes you finally understand it. The kids are learning to. Noah came home this past week and told us a little about Job. He really enjoys Sunday School and Seth is always so good we've been told! Now for the rest of our relaxing Sunday....

Wednesday Nite Worship

We have been trying so hard to go on Wednesday nights as a family to church. So far, so good! We are winning right now.. 2 - 0!!! Go Belote Family. Honestly, we really do enjoy Wednesday nights... we hang out with some wonderful friends, eat dinner prepared by someone else at a low cost, and the best part, we get fed on God's word. Noah has a buddy he looks forward to hanging out with each Wednesday night and it's Gavin. They love to play, run, eat together, run, go to class together and run. Do you see a "running" theme here? So Gavin's mom came up with a fabulous idea on how to keep them from running in church...

AND IT WORKED!!! Go Katie!!! They held hands while walking across campus and even at points when instructed about not running they actually listened! They are the entertainment in their Wednesday night class!!!

Spoiled Rotten...

Noah was spoiled rotten this weekend!!! I got my half day off on Friday (love half days on Friday - and I somehow convinced my boss to let me have another half day this Friday after working my weekend!) and so the weekend started a bit early. The boys napped at home and then it was time for Noah to get ready for Gramps and Grammy. He was heading out with them for the night and evening to hang out with Jay and then...

Oh. No. It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's 2 Batman's!!!

There sleeping arranagements for the night... not sure how they slept together but they did!

Noah was very excited about the "cool" train track Gramps built them. Personally, I've been having tons of fun building the tracks with Noah myself. It's neat to see how many different ways you can build a track and get the trains to work on it.

After a good night sleep and some breakfast, they headed out to Discovery Place Kids. And Noah loved it! He played with trains...

Rode some cars...

And climbed a mountain!

The spoiling didn't stop there... Jeremy's parents wanted to take Noah to see a movie. And really the only thing out age-range for him is "Beauty and the Beast" So off they went for some popcorn and a movie. He watched it in 3-D with some cool glasses....

Now for the weekends to come, there will be no more spoiling. But I can't promise there won't be lots of hugs and kisses sent their way!!!

All Alone...

Friday night, Noah went to spend the night at Grammy and Gramps house while this little one got all the attention from his parents...

Seth did not mind being the only one. He soaked up all the attention and made sure he got everything he wanted. His diet on Friday night consisted of carb overload... he has 4 (yes 4!!!) teeth coming through and some are molars and the poor guy just seems to be in so much discomfort. He wakes up and has drool all over the place and his little fingers just go right into his mouth all the time. But thanks to lots of soft food and some yummy bread, he's still able to eat! This kid eats. He loves some food and refuses to let us feed it to him. He wants it on the table so he can pick it up. And this kid is tough. If he is not a football player in years to come, I am going to be concerned. He is nicknamed "Bruiser" at daycare because he falls, does not cry and gets right back up! That's my boy!!!

Love how they play so nice together!!!

Hangin' with Friends!

We love hanging out with our friends (big and small)!!! Saturday night, we got together with the Jenkins's, ate some pizza, and let the kids play! It was a great night. Low key, fun, and relaxing! The ladies got to socialize, the boys watched some football, and these 3 had a blast hanging out...

Does anyone else see trouble in years to come once Carter gets added to this group?!?!?!

Thanks goes out to Cody and Dyanna for having our "wild" children over!

"Did you say 70 degrees?!?""

I would have never guessed it was a Saturday in January and that it was 19 degrees earlier this week. At one point today, it reached 70 degrees outside!!! We were outside a good portion of the day enjoying this beautiful weather...

We found our shadow...

We went on a walk around the neighborhood (well someone got pulled by the other)...

We played in the grass...

We ran around like crazy, but stopped for a uick picture...

And we had a good time outdoors playing with mommy and daddy!!!

I am hoping for another day like this tomorrow!!!
