Brothers...

Brothers.... there is a special bond between a brother. I can already see it with Seth and Noah. They will seek each out at school, church, home, wherever to make sure no one is hurting the other. They take good care of each other and they look after one another.

Noah is not afraid to tell Seth "no" for doing something he should not be doing; ie: putting grass in his mouth. And Seth, he gets so excited about seeing Noah in the morning time he jumps for joy. They are learning to play so well together but of course they have their moments when they push or pull each other around. I've enjoyed watching them over the past couple of weeks interact with one another. It makes a mommas heart smile to know her 2 boys enjoy one another's company!!! I can't wait to see what these 2 have in store for us in the months/ years to come!!!

In the attempt to show the Doctor his teeth he about bit him! That's what ya get for trying to look in my mouth sir! There is no sitting still for this little one! He's on the go and there is no stopping him now!!! I would not be surprised if he is not walking soon! YIKES!!!

Now lady give me some good food! Oh yeah he got his finger pricked and he didn't cry!!! Noah on the other hand cried a bit for him seeing his little bro get pricked!!!

Just a Tuesday...

Today was nothing fun or to exciting... just another Tuesday to mark off the calendar. The boys went to school while I went grocery shopping and cleaned the house. Then it was some fun time once they got home. For some reason Seth only slept 30min at school so needless to say he came home and went right to bed!

Oh what a happy baby once he's fed!!!

It's a shame this little kids lawnmower does not really work... our grass would be cut each morning and afternoon!!!

Noah is "pretending" to be like Jeremy here pushing the lawnmower!

And this little one enjoyed being stroller around!

Tomorrow is the not so fun day for everyone! Really only Seth but everyone else will have to suffer to... he has his 9 mo check up and will be getting some shots and a finger stick!!! Better get some Tylenol ready!

Nature Walks

I decided to "attempt" to be creative and go with a theme for this week for Noah since he was only at daycare 2 days this week. This week at school they had a theme "camping" where they got to bring in their sleeping bags, pillows, and roast marsh mellows. Well, the good mom I am forgot the sleeping bag on the first day and so he only got to take it one day. But he was super excited about it. The rest of the week we let him sleep in the sleeping bag during nap time on the ground and during the night. He loved it!!! Today, we went on a nature walk and I allowed him to pick up as many rocks as he wanted... little boy heaven!!!

Of course he like throwing the rocks, who won't!!!

Seth enjoying being pushed around and grinning from ear to ear.

We found a picnic table and Noah thought it would be a great place to play for bit. Seth enjoyed crawling all around and underneath until I found a spider. And the baby went back into the stroller safe where no spiders could get him.

And when I tried to get a cheese on our nature walk, he look in every direction but at the camera!

So all in all, he enjoyed throwing rocks and sticks. Something we have to constantly tell him no for doing. I call it a successful nature walk. and we left the spider back at the picnic table after Noah tried to kill it!

Wonderful Wednesdays!!

Today was AWESOME!!! We enjoyed our day at home and uneventful. We ran (walked with a lawnmower) to the grocery store for a gallon of milk after realizing Noah drank expired milk this morning. Oops! Oh well he said it tasted good. But we got the opportunity to play outside all day long. The weather was perfect!!! After Seth's nap and lunch we started with round one outdoors. I opened up the water table and let them splash around in it for a few then Noah wanted to play baseball!

(The wonderful mother I am let him play outside in his underwear.)

After a quick clean up we headed for naps and I promised them if the weather was still good we would go back outside and I would fill the little pool up with water. Well the weather was still nice and I guess the boys were so excited about going back outside that they only slept for 1.5 hrs! Very unlike them. Let's just say, I was able to sit back and relax this afternoon while the boys played in the water table and pool!!! It was great!!!

Not sure what they were doing here but they stayed in this tiny pool for several minutes just laughing!

Noah enjoying spitting water out of his mouth onto Seth. And Seth thought it was awesome! It's got to be a boy-thing!

We ventured back and forth from the water table to the pool but they both played so well. Noah would asked Seth "You ready for the pool" or "You want to play with the water table." It was sweet. I can tell they are going to be best buds!!!

This might just be a mom thing but I think it's so sweet he's playing with his little brother!!!

We're hoping for a couple more nice days like today so we can enjoy the outdoors some more. I might have to come up with a few games for the boys!

9 Months and Counting...

Seth is 9 months old today!!! I can't believe this little angel has been with us for those wonderful 9 months. He is so much fun and a pure joy to have around the house. He brings sometime new to our house everyday.

He loves to smile at just about anyone...

He is eating anything in site and is starting to take some table food. He enjoys the new food we have been giving to him over the past couple of days!

His favorite past-time is to go outside and play with his new water table! Both boys could sit play out there all day long.

You've been crawling now for almost 2 months and you love it. You can get anywhere you want but sometimes we have to stop you because we don't want you to get hurt.

We are wondering when you will walk but we're not ready for that!

We love you lots Seth and we love all the fun you have brought to our house!!!!

Celebrations!

On Saturday, we helped to celebrate Jay's 3rd birthday. He had tons of friends over and got lots of cool presents. We got several ideas for presents for Noah for his upcoming birthday! They boys had a blast (especially Noah) jumping in the pools and splashing around with friends. In his evening prayers, he said "Dear Jesus, thank you for letting me have fun in the pool with my friends! AMEN!"

Little Seth, had fun at the beginning but towards the end he got a little tired and finally passed out...

The cold water did not stop anyone from getting wet!

Noah enjoyed sliding down the slip and slide!

Too bad we can't have a water birthday party... just means I have to get a little more creative for Noah's upcoming birthday :-)

Oh. My. Word. Friday!!!

Today was a day! And I am so glad it's over. A certain someone... Noah Belote... lost his mind most of the day and would not listen at all. I took things away from him all day long and it never phased him to behave to get them back! We stayed home 95% of the day.

This sweet little one tried a new snack today... mini-goldfish! and he loved every last little bit of them!!!

Here's Noah not getting into trouble. He is spitting water from the water table into the yard. Personally I think this is gross cause the water had grass in it but whatever floats his boat!

And we were never so excited for bath-time... the two found a new game in the tub. It's called chase where Seth crawls around in tub and Noah chases him with a washcloth attempting to clean him. It was very entertaining but several times I had to get on the big one for jumping on the little one.

What better way to end the day then with some cookies!!!!

maybe tomorrow someone will find their listening ears!

Low Key Sundays

We had a low key Sunday which is so nice from the fast pace life we tend to have. We went to church this morning and had a wonderful time! We always learn so much... there can be so much at the end of a rainbow! Afterwards, we took great naps and Noah insisted on getting the bounce house out. We have not had it out in a while and sweet Seth has not really played on it. We took the opportunity since only Noah was playing on it to let Seth get in on the jumping. He loved it!

Seth attempting to climb up the slide...

Noah sliding down right into Seth; Seth did not seem to mind being "tackled."

Once again an attempt of going up the slide!

He was all tuckered out after the climbing and sunshine that he took another mini-nap to finish out the night!

We've been trying some new foods on Seth. We're making the adjusted from jar food to table food and if we think it's soft enough for him to eat, we will chopped it and let him have some. So far, Seth has enough hash browns, bananas, and Noah's favorite, green bean casserole! Do you see the 4 teeth on the bottom?!?! Oh. My. Word. Seriously, is an almost 9 month old supposed to have that many teeth?!?!

Sports Edition

Over the past couple of weeks, we've packed our bags to head to the church ball-fields to cheer Jeremy and his teammates on to a victory. Noah has thoroughly enjoyed playing in the dirt and Seth has enjoyed being "dangled" (literally) from my shoulders. All in all, we've made some good/ new friends at the fields that I know we will continue to be friends with in years to come.

(The pics are not good cause I'm trying to keep up with an almost 3 yr old and trying not to get spit up upon by a little 8 mo.)

Jeremy coaching the bases! Go Team Orange!!!

In this I was unable to get the entire picture but Noah, Jay and Gavin were all screaming "Go Daddy Go!" at the top of their lungs. It did not matter who's dad it was they were cheering for them.

They seriously sat there for 10 min and watched part of the game!!! We still came home with tons of dirt though!

We're also enjoyed the pre-game warm-ups on the playground!

And just for kicks, before leaving tonight this little one was just the cutest!!!

Wordless Wednesday!

**This is a side note for myself: Noah likes to call Lemonade "Lemon-Tea." At first, we had no idea what he was talking about then we realized we ask for lemons in our tea at restaurants and therefore he thinks he's drinking his lemon-tea aka lemonade!**

Passing the sickness around...

We have been passing the germs around the house here at the Belote's. First, it started with Noah and a 103 temperature. We visited the urgent care to let us know it was only a virus. Then Seth started with a low grade temperature. And what could be better then 4 teeth coming through at one time for the little one. He managed to get rid of his fever by Thursday in time for school but stayed cranky all day Friday. And last but not least I got the mini-virus with a fever only. To top it all off, my eye has been bothering me for about a week but I passed it off. Today I had had enough of it and went to the doctor to find out I have an eye virus! Oh joy! Now I get to do eye drops four times a day for a week... I give kids all day at work medications but eye drops four times a day, I'm going to forget to give it to myself at some point. so the only safe and germ free person in our house is the hubs, only because he was gone at the first part of last week!
