Memorial Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend last week. After Noah's graduation we hit up his favorite, McDonald's for lunch, and then everyone came home and just chilled for a little. I cleaned the house from top to bottom! The kids then got to invite a friend over to spend the night. We let them watch the Lego Movie and they enjoyed it. They ate popcorn and had a good time. When it was time for bed they didn't argue because were getting up to go to a parade in the morning!

Imagine these 4 boys running into your room at 6am screaming BANG!!! and that's just what they did. They were up super early but it was okay. They were having a good time.

We walked down to the parade in our town and watched Jeremy run a 5K

He did great and had a better time then last...

Some of the HGBC buddies!

Then it was time for the parade. The kids had a blast running in the streets while there were not any cars. It's the only time they will get to do that. They all scored Legos at the parade thanks to a really nice Lego rep.

Seth ate way too much donuts!

The parade started and they had a blast catching candy and hanging with their friends!

Good memories were made!!!

Coach Pitch

It was a shining moment for Noah... he was asked to play Coach Pitch last week for a team that was missing some of there players. In order to play, they had to have 8 players or else they had to call a Tball player to play. And Jeremy got the call in the afternoon and he jumped on it. Noah was so excited to play.

He got to bat 3 times... and did not use a tee at all.

On his second time to bat, he got a hit!!!!

He made it to first base...

Around to third...

And even scored a run!!!

And he was only 5 years old and he was playing with 8 year olds! I was so proud of my Noah!!!! He was excited to be out there with the big kids!!!

Preschool Graduation!

He's officially on Summer Break!!!

On Friday, we attended Noah's preschool graduation and we were beyond excited. We can't believe we are going to have a Kindergartner on our hands.

He matched in with all his friends...

And they sang the pledge of allegiance...

THEN much to our surprise (he sort of told us a little about this), Noah sand a solo!!!! Oh. My. Word. It melted my heart! We asked him how he was chosen and he said that his teachers asked who wanted to sing at graduation and he raised his hand. And he did so very well!

He got a diploma...

We are very thankful for this teachers... Ms. Barbara and Ms. Quanince... they have thought his so much this past year! I was very impressed with everything he learned in this room.

Our new graduate!

And now he's ready for Bain Elementary School!!!!

Quick Recap...

We have had a busy month and to end it in a few weeks we're heading on vacation! But this week we celebrated mother's day! The boys took me to lunch on Friday and I introduced them to a new restaurant near my work. They liked it! We then hung out on Saturday and I got to plant some flowers which I've been wanting to do for a while.

We stayed busy through the week with work and church activities and doing laundry...

Saturday came and went before we knew it! Seth and I went to a birthday part for a friend while Noah went with Jeremy to his fundraiser carwash for his Central Asia trip. We met up somewhere in between and Noah had a Tball game.

He got a hit!

We came home to take a nap and Jeremy went back to the car wash, all in preparation for the big event last night. The race! Jeremy got some tickets to the race and they let me tag along. The boys had a blast eating all kinds of sugar and watching the cars go fast. They even had fireworks!

Pre-sugar

Post-sugar

And that was a wrap for the week!

Twilight 5K

ON Friday night, Jeremy ran his first race. He's been training for it for about 6 weeks and was excited to run. The kids and I along with tons of other from the church went down to cheer the HGBC Team on.

Live. Run. Sent.

And they are ready to go...

Jeremy finished in 28 minutes or so and was beyond thrilled to have completed the race! We greeted him at the end and we were proud he accomplished one of his goals!

Life!!!

We have very busy over the past few weeks getting Noah ready for school, playing Tball and working our full-time jobs!

On Friday, we went to Beginners Day at Noah's new school! I was impressed how well he did. I got to show him around the school and some of the class I was in as well. It was very bitter sweet!

Each weekend, we have had Tball and had a blast coaching them. They are a great group of young boys excited about playing in the dirt and coming each week.

Noah has improved on his Tball skills and doing a great job.

He hit the ball all the way to right field!!!

He was excited about he only had to hit off the tee twice!

Next weekend, will be slower!
