Just Because...

Our week has started off with a BANG! I accidentally ran into the garage door on Monday and have been patiently waiting for the repair to fix it. I'm stuck at the house all day long... waiting. Noah and I took a stroll this morning. Is he not the cutest in these glasses with the sweetest smile!?!?! He's getting so big now. What am I going to do with the little guy. He's attempting to sit up and he's doing a great job of it. In the stroller he is sitting up all by himself. Soon we're going to have a crawler on our hands!

Another Wednesday

Wednesday's are always so much fun! I normally have every Wednesday off and Noah and I get to hang out for the entire day. Today he was so playful and played in his exer-saucer for a whole hr while I cleaned the bathrooms. What a good boy! I was so impressed. He only took a 1 hr nap this morning which is so not like him; he normally sleeps for 2-2.5hrs. We went for a super LLOONNGG walk with our neighbors Darby and baby Haily. We had so much fun chatting and the kids got strolled around the entire neighborhood twice. We got some great exercise in. I think we walked a total of 5 miles today. We're trying some new food out on the little guy. Today was Mac and Cheese and it was gone! He loved every minute of it. This weekend we get to hangout with my parents cause Jeremy is out of town. We're looking forward to it!!!

So Fresh & Clean!

Bath time is one of Noah's favorite times of the day! He loves to jump into the water and relax. He's begun to kick and play more in the water now and loves all the rubber ducky's to be right beside him. He helps mom and dad out by washing himself. The washcloth has become another chew toy for him! Afterwards, he gets lotioned up, diapered, ears cleaned, and then clothed. But last night we decided to play dress-up and put this cute robe on that a friend gave him. Doesn't he look so cute!

Check me out in my robe and slippers!

One happy baby after getting all cleaned up!

HighChair News

Noah moved up to sitting in a highchair for meals. He was super excited to be sitting with the rest of the family and like a big boy. He still loves his bumbo but the highchair is easier to feed him at and he is safely in there with a seat-belt. He's already figured out how to kick the table back when he is done!

Look at me everyone! I'm a big boy now!

Trying some big boy food... turkey and gravy... sounds good but is it good?

Not so sure about that one. Let me spit it right back at you!

Welcome Home Mommy!

After 12 (long) hrs at work, I come home to the cutest little thing... Mr Noah with his new hat and shades on standing at the door to greet me. He loves the hat and shades! It doesn't seem to bother him when we are out and about in the sunshine. Jeremy had just got him cleaned and bathed and he was ready to be fed!

Just Because...

We've had a pretty uneventful week at the Belote House. Noah was a bit fussy at daycare on Monday but by Tuesday and Wednesday, he was back to his old self... playful, happy and content! I caught Noah today playing on his tummy for a whole 10 minutes. It's very unusual because he can't stand to be on his back or tummy. But how else is the little guy going to learn to crawl or roll over lots?!?! He was playing with all his toys and having a blast until he realized it was eating time. We've moved him up to stage 2 foods this week and he likes the texture of it better. The others were just to liquid for him. He's tried 8 different foods and loves all of them. He tried peas for the first time yesterday and wasn't to thrilled but at dinner he downed them!

Easter 2009

What an AWESOME day!!! Easter is such a wonderful time of year... celebrating the King! We started the celebration on Friday, Noah got tons of little gifts there from my parents of a pool to sun tan lotion to new clothes to the cutest sun glasses! Then on Sunday morning the Easter bunny visited Noah because he had been so good all year long! After the bunny visited we went to church then to Great Nana's house where she gave Noah more clothes. Then daddy's side of the family came over with even more clothes! Wow this little one has so man clothes now!

Somehow he knew that Noah needed some new shoes and that he was out growing them super fast. Noah was surprised by he shoes!

And then this cool toy to ride on and then he can also walk behind it.

Family Portrait!

Visit to Clemson

Today we visited Clemson, SC the home of the Clemson Tigers. (Jeremy's favorite college team). We had a blast! They had spring practice today so admission was free, strollers were allowed and you could come in and out of the stadium. Noah enjoyed every minute of it. He was awake most of the time we were down there and slept going and coming. It was a nice summer day to be outside and enjoy some football!

Jeremy and Noah managed to get onto the field to get a picture but then got kicked off very quick.

You can barely see it, but 2/3's of Noah's name is on the ground... David Belote. He PawPaw played for the Clemson Tigers and has his name on a brick close to the Howard's Rock.

Noah, MawMaw and me... Noah being silly!

I've been good Easter Bunny...

Look at me I'm 5 months old!

Noah is 5 months old now! It's so exciting to see all the new things he can do now. He is getting to big right before our eyes. Jeremy and I have been saying that time flies and we've got to cherish every moment!

Noah loves to chew on about anything that can fit into his tiny mouth. He's managed to fit his entire fist in there and gagged himself several times!

You're looking at the next linebacker! Already making tackles!

We've started him out early learning how to do chores... such as mowing the lawn.

This sweet little grin is priceless! Most of the time in the morning we wake up to him talking in bed and when you run in there to see him, he gives you a good morning smile!

And last but not least, he loves meal time. He has managed to taste carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, bananas and applesauce and loves them all. He's messy eater most of the time!

The Hefferans

Today, we packed our bags and headed out to the football fields to watch Jeremy play flag football. Each year the Panthers host a Weekend Warrior Tournament at Panthers Stadium. Some of the guys from the SS Class got together to play. They won 1 and lost the other 2. They played super hard though. And the ladies had a blast watching the guys play. We got a little sun burnt though but the weather was awesome.
Guys in action coming up with their next offense play
Jeremy tossing the ball to Chris
The refs going over some of the rules
The Hefferan Team (wonder where that name came from - The King of Queens!) - - Jeremy, Chris, Ned, Brian, COdy and Ned's brother
Noah cheering Dad on... at this point he was done and needed a little nap. But exciting news he liked playing in the grass today at the stadium.

Time, PLEASE Stand Still!

Oh how I wish that time would stand still. My little man is growing up so fast right before my very eyes. He is doing new things each week. He has enjoyed getting 3 solid meals a day. So far squash is his least favorite of all. I've been told to try them for a bit because he might grow to like them soon. He's a messy eater but it's okay. No clothing has been ruined yet. He is attempting to sit on his own right now. He can only hold it for about 15 seconds before he flops over. He's grabbing toys and anything that can fit into his mouth goes in there. He loves fingers and when he bites yours, it hurts! He has managed to gag himself with his own hand somehow. He can now stand on his two feet. It's so cute and he loves it! The best is when he stand in front of a mirror to see himself wobble all around. For now time can continue going but if it will slow now I'd greatly appreciate it so I can enjoy every moment with my little man.
